Refund policy

Return Period

We have a 14-day return policy for online orders, in line with UK consumer law.
This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to let us know you’d like to return it.

This does not affect your rights regarding faulty or not-as-described items (see below).


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible, items must be:

  • unused / unworn

  • in original, saleable condition

  • with all tags still attached (for clothing)

  • in original packaging (e.g., deck wrap, hardware bags, clothing bags)

  • accompanied by proof of purchase

Used or gripped skateboard decks cannot be returned unless faulty.


How to Start a Return

Email us at hello@boardbrothers.uk with:

  • your name

  • order number

  • item(s) you want to return

  • the reason for the return

Please do not send returns without contacting us first. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

Unless your item is faulty or incorrect, return postage is your responsibility.
We recommend a tracked service.


Non-Returnable Items

To keep things clear and simple:

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Used or gripped skateboard decks (unless faulty)

  • Clothing that has been worn, washed or marked

  • Items returned without original packaging or tags

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked “final sale” at checkout

If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, email us and we’ll confirm.


Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is:

  • faulty

  • damaged in transit

  • or not as described

Please contact us at hello@boardbrothers.uk as soon as you notice the issue.

Your rights:

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Notify us within 30 days → you are entitled to a refund or replacement.

  • After 30 days → we may offer a repair or replacement first.

For faulty or incorrect items, we will cover the reasonable cost of return postage.


Your 14-Day Legal Right to Cancel (UK Customers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can cancel your order within:

  • 14 days of receiving the goods

  • then return them within 14 days of telling us you’re cancelling

Items must be unused and in original condition (see eligibility above).

If you cancel:

  • We refund the item(s) plus your standard delivery charge

  • You cover the cost of returning the goods (unless faulty)


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm approval or rejection.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method

  • We aim to process refunds within 14 days of receiving your return

Your bank/credit card provider may take additional time to show the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you haven’t received your refund, contact us at hello@boardbrothers.uk.

We may make a deduction if the item’s value has been reduced due to handling that goes beyond checking it (e.g., worn clothing, damaged packaging, scuffs).
